Leg 3 - 6.4 miles
The third leg of the 2022 RCM Relay enjoys some of the longest straights on the course. There is a tough climb from near the end, but the runner gets to enjoy running through Veteran’s Park, downtown Huntsville, past Big Spring Park, and past Campus 805, which will be bustling with activity as the front half-marathoner’s peel off to finish.

The following maps and diagrams will help you navigate from the VBC to Exchange Zone 2 and then return to the VBC or move on to Exchange Zone 3:

This route might encounter runners near the VBC at the traffic circle. Otherwise, this should avoid runners. Please do not use Holmes Ave or enter the campus of UAH from University before 9:30am.
Route from Exchange Zone 3 to Exchange Zone 4
The route will avoid all runners, but must be avoided before 9:15am because of the start of the Back Half-Marathon.
Parking
Parking is available in the UAH parking area shown below adjacent to the Business Administration Building. Please avoid Holmes Ave. and avoid entering the campus from 9:00 to 9:30 since Back Half-Marathon runners will be on Graves Dr.
