5K

The 5K Mural Run is one of our favorite races through the entire Rocket City Race Weekend. The walker friendly course winds past most of the beautiful murals we have in Downtown Huntsville before finishing at the same indoor finish line all our races share (except the Front Half-Marathon). Unlike our other races, we do allow strollers and walkers are encouraged to participate. Registered participants will receive a super awesome registration shirt. Finishers will receive one of our great travel medals depicting one passport stamp.

Participants who complete any TWO events will receive one of our “Challenge” medals which looks like a passport cover and helps tie all of the medals together. The more adventurous who complete THREE events (10K, 5K, and either the full or one of the half-marathons) will be rewarded with one of our awesome “hat trick” hats.

The 5k starts at 9am on Saturday, December 9, 2023. The 5K is USATF certified (AL22049JE).

Awards

Awards may be collected at the awards table in the South Hall.

There will be no awards ceremony.

Awards will not be mailed.
